Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my existing concrete posts?

Yes. Choose "Use my existing concrete post" as the installation method, and the kit is made to fit standard slotted concrete posts set at 1.83m (6ft) centres. For narrower gaps, the boards and rails can be trimmed to size.

What's included in the kit?

Each kit includes the composite boards, top and bottom rails, fixings and caps for one 1.8m-wide panel. Concrete post kits also include post inserts, and aluminium post kits include the posts. Order one kit per panel.

How many kits do I need?

Divide the length of your fence run in metres by 1.83 and round up to the next whole number. If your run includes non-standard lengths, call us on 0161 706 1198 and we'll help you work out your order.

Can I fit it myself?

Yes. The system is designed for easy DIY installation. Most DIYers can fit a complete fence in a couple of hours with just a drill and a spirit level. Full step-by-step instructions are available in the installation guide on our website.

Does it fade or need painting?

No. Our fencing never needs painting, staining or treating. All our boards are second-generation composite with an extra protective polymer layer, so they're highly resistant to fading.

What's the warranty?

Our boards have a 10-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering splitting, splintering, rot and termite or fungal damage. See our Warranty page for full terms.

How long is delivery?

Fence kits are delivered by van to the UK mainland within 3–5 working days. Delivery is free on orders over £800.

Can I see it before I buy?

Yes. Order free samples online and we'll deliver them within 48 hours, or visit our Manchester showroom at Unit 4 Project House, Tilson Road, M23 9GF.

Can I return unused kits?

Yes. Unused kits in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to our Returns & Refund Policy. Please contact us first to arrange the return. If we arrange collection for a change-of-mind return, a £50 collection charge applies. You can also arrange your own return. There is no collection charge for faulty, damaged or incorrect items, and your statutory rights are unaffected.
